Crouch End and Muswell Hill
Stress is a normal part of life, but when it builds up over time, it can take a serious toll on both mental and physical well-being. In my practice, I combine Person-Centered Counseling and cognitive-behavioural techniques to help clients manage stress and improve their quality of life.
Stress can stem from work, relationships, or life changes and often shows up as headaches, sleep problems, anxiety, or irritability. When stress becomes chronic, it can lead to more serious issues like burnout, fatigue, or depression. Prolonged stress may cause emotional exhaustion and make it difficult to cope with daily challenges.
Person-centred Help
Person-centred counselling provides a supportive space for clients to explore the root causes of their stress. With empathy and active listening, I help clients process their emotions and develop a deeper understanding of their stressors.
"Andrew helped me talk through my overwhelming difficulties till I understood the root of my stress. His guidance has been invaluable. I know my mental health better and feel more equipped to cope with the challenges I tend to have in life. I'm grateful for the support and positive changes I've experienced."

Achieving Resilience
Cognitive and Behavioral Approaches
In addition to emotional support, cognitive and behavioural techniques help clients address the thoughts and behaviours that fuel stress. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a powerful tool for identifying and changing negative thought patterns.
Achieving Resilience
Through therapy, clients learn to manage their stress more effectively, build emotional resilience, and regain control over their well-being, by combining emotional support with practical tools. We can work together to develop lasting strategies to cope with life’s challenges.
